Connect 7TB aray in Redhat Linux Ent. 5.5
« on: September 19, 2010, 05:50:09 PM »
Hey everyone
I need help connecting a 7TB aray to server and setting up Samba to create shares with Windows 2003 while working with Redhate Linux Ent. 5.5
I am fairly new to Linux and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

RAIDs are really cool and great for many uses.  You can see the RedHat manual for RAID here
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-6.2-Manual/ref-guide/ch-raid.html

For using your SAMBA to share to Windows networks, see the manual here:
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-9-Manual/custom-guide/s1-samba-configuring.html

Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. -- Linux learns.
