Installing Linux

I have a HP Web Server which I am installing Linux on.  I get through the seven disk boot up sequence and then the thing freezes up and won\'t ready my cd rom.  Have any suggestions?

Can you please provide more details?  That way people can more easily help you :)

Distro?  What exactly is a "seven disk boot up sequence"?  What exactly is freezing up?
