SNES emulator on a ps3 using linux

Hi

First of all, I am new to using linux. I have Fedora Core 5 installed on my ps3. I am trying to install a snes emulator on it but having some trouble getting it running. Can anyone offer some help.

Welcome to the Linux Boards forums!  Sure, I can try to help you.  Can you provide more detail as to which emulator you are trying to install and what errors or whatever you are encountering?

UPDATE:  I found some great links for running SNES ROMs on an emulator on PS3 here:

Some of the YouTube videos are a nice little reference especially viewing the comments to them.

I am trying to install the latest version of ZSNES ( http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?groupname=zsnes&filename=zsnes151src.tar.bz2&use_mirror=easynews ). However, I am unfamiliar with linux and not sure how to make it run.

OK, go to where you downloaded it and untar it and then go into the docs directory and view the file install.txt.

Then scroll down to the part that says "Linux/SDL/POSIX port:" and read there.  Let me know how it goes.
