I\'m a suse 9.0-user. How can I upgrate to a higher level? Is it possible to do it even though I\'m working under Windows and Linux in the same computer?

Upgrading On A Dual-Boot SuSE Linux and Windows

There are always bound to be issues when you upgrade from one version to another. Even upgrading from 9.0 to 9.3 was a little of a hassle. I prefer reinstalling if at all possible.

Now Windows and Linux...

Think of a dual-boot computer as a duplex or apartment building. You have two tenants but they don\'t intrude on each other\'s space. That is how Linux and Windows behave with each other. In fact other than the lost space on the Hard Drive, Windows doesn\'t even know Linux EXISTS.

The partitions on the hard-drive are completely different from one another and there should be no problem whatsoever whether you are dual-booting or you have a dedicated Linux machine.

Good luck, and God speed.
