whoops... overwrote more. easiest way to fix?

was in bin/ and executed "ls > more" as opposed to "ls | more"

whoops...

anyone know of a simple way to replace it?

thanks for the reply.

i found a copy under a directory called \'versions\' which looks like it exists for the exact purpose of backing up default things that get screwed up.  (i\'m working with an xo laptop, which runs a modified version of fedora core 7)

needless to say, i\'m very much a novice to this whole linux thing..

i\'m confused by your response, though.  i was under the impression that all programs had to be compiled and linked for the specific machine they were to run on.  but your response would seem to indicate that i could just copy more from another machine and it would run wherever i put it?

is that true?  is it true for more but not for other programs?  if so, what\'s the difference?

It really depends on the file.  Glad to see you got it back, great reminder to look in the "versions" directory :)
