It is rediculous, but definately a logistical nightmare for authorities. I believe that even if they were to have known ahead of time the exact locations that were going to be affected the rescue efforts would still have been far from perfect. I believe what is rediculous is our complete reliance on modern technologies. Our government spends millions of dollars every year (our tax money) for technologies to predict the paths and patterns of large and potentially harmful weather systems.
