DD-WRT wget command not working, just hangs
« on: August 25, 2010, 04:40:07 PM »
Hey guys, I was trying to configure my DD-WRT router software (for WRT54G2 v1.0) and was discovering when logged in to SSH (or telnet) the wget command was just hanging.  After much searching for the answer to this problem, finally found the solution.

==================

 /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_ecn is set, thus positioning the ECN flag on the connection request
By setting this flag to 0, it works correctly ...
To do so :
Code: [Select]
echo 0 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_ecn
Now it works!
Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. -- Linux learns.
