Sig and Avatar Rules
« on: September 28, 2005, 01:56:41 PM »
Hi Dyna,
If you could give me the permission to edit user options like the sig and avatar, so I could help enforce sig and avatar rules, I would really apprecaite it.
Thanks,
-Alex

Any idea how to do that?  I looked under USERS in the admin CP and no such option.

Uhh... I think its in the "usergroups" settings, the moderator usergroup. Either that or I have to be a "super moderator",

Well for future reference:
You add a user to the Super Moderator group as a primary user. This gives the user moderator permissions over all the forums.
You add the user to the admin group as a secondary user group. You want to make sure your primary group inherits permission from the secondary group.
You make sure you\'re super admin, then go into the admin CP and go to "Usergroups - Administrator Permissions". Then click "Edit Permissions".
You can then edit all the permissions for Administrators.
The user who you added to the Super Mod group will then be displayed as super mod, but be able to edit User Options.

It was bugging me, I had to try and figure it out  :p

Well I just checked out the Super Mod control panel, and it looks like I can change signatures, avatars, and profile pictures. Neat!  :)
