I use a php/mysql-based script to connect to some email accounts. I haven\'t checked the mail in a while, so I knew it would be a lot in there. Upon logging in, I was presented with this nifty error message. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Got a packet bigger than \'max_allowed_packet\'

Added the following to /etc/my.cnf

[INDENT]set-variable=max_allowed_packet=32M[/INDENT]
