Got a problem with Banshee
« on: September 25, 2006, 09:10:48 AM »
SUSEs\' media player, Banshee, keeps on stalling after playing only a couple of mp3s.
The only way to terminate it then, is to force quit.

Anybody got an inkling why that happens?
Cause I really need my music!!!

Troubleshooting Banshee
« Reply #1 on: September 25, 2006, 03:19:51 PM »
We need to discover what is making it crash.  Let\'s start Banshee from the command line and see if we can get a managed stack trace.
Code: [Select]
$ mono --debug /usr/lib/banshee/banshee.exeThen try to reproduce the crash.  If a managed stack trace is printed after the crash, copy and paste the trace into a text editor. If you notice the words "Segmentation Fault" or a native stack trace following a managed stack trace, getting a backtrace may be necessary. If this is not the case, please file the bug, and include your full managed trace and instructions on reproducing the crash.
