PHP - A Beginner\'s Guide
« on: March 23, 2007, 12:48:28 AM »
For us coders, the move from Windoze servers to Linux means a shift from .ASP to .PHP. Although similar in a lot of ways, there are differences that are enough to stymy a lot of people.

A great place to get your feet wet and see online tutorials about PHP (actually SEE what is going on) is (no, not YouTube) Dreamweaversclub.com

Here you can find a myriad of tutorials... a great place to start is here:
http://www.dreamweaverclub.com/vtm/php-mysql-apache.php

It will take some time and patience to go through the videos but it will be most worth it to you and a lot more helpful than reading tutorials or purchasing books.

Good luck and happy coding.
