Got error 28 from table handler SQL=SELECT

Out of nowhere today am getting this error message on a domain that uses MySQL database.

Usually this means that the partition that houses MySQL is full.  Try cleaning out some unnecessary data (old logs, etc...) from that part and see if that helps.
